1. Our Commitment to Copyright
My TV Channel is a user-generated content platform. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. We do not provide, license, or distribute any content ourselves - all content on our platform is uploaded by users who are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights.
2. User Responsibilities
By using My TV Channel, users agree that they will only upload content that:
- They have created themselves
- They own all rights to
- They have obtained proper licenses or permissions to use
- Is in the public domain
Users are solely responsible for any content they upload and any consequences of uploading infringing material, including legal liability.
3. DMCA Compliance
We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar copyright laws worldwide. We respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
4. How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on My TV Channel in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written notice to our designated agent with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple works, a representative list
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, with enough information to locate the material (e.g., channel name, video title, URL)
- Your contact information including name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed
- Your physical or electronic signature

5. What Happens After a DMCA Notice
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly
- Notify the user who uploaded the content about the takedown
- Provide the user with information about filing a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was in error
6. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification with:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the US, the courts of Rennes, France
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification

7. Repeat Infringer Policy
We maintain a strict repeat infringer policy. Users who repeatedly upload infringing content will have their accounts terminated. We track all valid DMCA notices and:
- First offense: Content removed, warning issued
- Second offense: Content removed, final warning issued
- Third offense: Account permanently terminated
We reserve the right to terminate any account at any time for egregious violations, even on a first offense.
8. In-App Reporting
You can also report copyright infringement directly within the My TV Channel app by tapping the report button on any channel or video and selecting "Copyright violation" as the reason. These reports are reviewed by our team and processed according to this policy.
9. Good Faith
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability. Please ensure your claims are accurate before submitting.
